Presentation of master classes on science
My carreer pursuit is to make a dream of kids and adults come true. The dream to study in the world's best schools, colleges and universities to become high qualified professionals.

For more than 10 years I've been teaching science and maths in English and Russian. My major professional interest is to get students prepared to great deal of international exams including GCSE, A-level, IB diploma, SAT, Aptitude Tests, TOEFL, IELTS and even maths section of MBA.
I know from everyday experience how to explain perplexed scientific phenomena, complicated formulae and untwist paradoxes in a captivating way. I believe I've managed to find the Golden Mean between the rigorous learning and entertainment.

My experience and thorough education inspired me to create a series of books (about to be published in Alpina.deti) and the course of applied science master classes.

The structure of the master classes for kids (1-1.5 hours)

#Introduction and the quiz testing the general knowledge of students (5 min)
#Brief theoretical summary explaining the main aspects of the topic (10 min)
#Getting prepared to the experimental part: safety precautions, materials, steps (10 min)
#Experiment or diorama carried out personally or in small groups (30-60 min)
#Final discussion and the question and answer session (10 min)

And of course — having fun and making friends!

And what's important — they can be simply designed by kids using everyday objects!
#Super volcano
We discuss the structure of Earth and the origin of volcanoes. Also we create a diorama of a working chemical volcano. Each kid customises it according to personal preferences — it might be a volcanic island in the ocean or a giant hidden in the woods.

#Solar system
We discuss the gravity and model the gravitational field together using just a jar of jam! After the brief discussion of the main components of the Solar system every student makes his or her model or we can create a gigantic one all together!

#Spaghetti skyscraper
We discuss the mechanical properties of engineering materials. In our case — pasta!
After carrying out an experiment on strength of spaghetti each participant of this master class creates his own skyscraper. The tallest one wins!

Professor Monki is ready to teach but sometimes he can still throw a banana at a student (he's just a monkey after all!)
